Magnetic North: Tune in to "Magnetic North" on WELY radio 94.5 FM or audio stream on the web at wely.com every Monday and Saturday morning between 8:30 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. The show features economic and community development in the Wilderness area and is hosted by the Ely Area Development Association. New and established business owners and community leaders are invited to share their insights. We're on our fifteenth interview this week. If you haven't become a regular listener, you've already missed some interesting people telling their stories.
The show often features people who have chosen to return home to build a business and may inspire others to envision returning to the Ely area. If you have children who live and work elsewhere but want to return, encourage them to tune in via their computers. They will hear how new businesses get established, how they might bring their ideas and skills home and how they might connect to people with established businesses in the area.
