Henderson Selected for Senior Manager Leadership Institute

( Ely, MN )Pat Henderson, Executive Director of the Ely Area Development Association and Executive Coordinator of the Community Economic Development Joint Powers Board, has been selected to participate in the MN Council of Nonprofits 2008 Senior Manager Leadership Institute.

The goal of the Senior Manager Leadership Institute is to help nonprofit leaders be more strategic, analytical and creative.Each candidate was asked to propose a leadership challenge to address over the course of the Institute which will begin in March 2008 and end in September 2008. The candidates selected to attend the Institute will meet eight times throughout the course.

Henderson received a scholarship from the MN Council of Nonprofits, the Northland Foundation and contribution of travel and participation expenses from MN Power.
